This property of unique characteristics, was built at the end of the nineteenth century and distinguished itself from all others in the village by having a roof in reverse format, also being designated by the "House of three nozzles".
Its privileged geographical location, close to the Serra do Picoto Rainho and a few minutes from the river beach "O Malhadal", as well as the use of materials from the region in its reconstruction (shale stone and pine wood) make this house unique and distinct.
The exterior of the property is covered with shale stone with closed joints and the stones varnished with transparent varnish, to maintain the coloring of the stones as they are in nature.
Its entire interior is made of pine (floor, walls and ceilings). This interior wood is protected with a transparent and fireproof aqueous varnish, to keep the wood as natural as possible.
In the technical part, we highlight the walls of great thickness (80 cm) with stone air box, thermal insulation, new air box and wood. Thermal insulation was also used on floors and ceilings for better comfort. A underfloor heating system has been implemented, heated by a gas boiler that has the support of solar panels. The warm sanitary waters obey the same principle. The property also includes a wood-burning fireplace, as well as a wood stove, this stove that includes a water boiler, which when in use assists the heating of water for both the underfloor and sanitary waters.
The property consists of six suites, all with shower base and dressing area. Two of them include a large terrace. The rooms are simply decorated with few furnishings to be in harmony with nature. They also have pine wardrobe, without doors, for better visualization of the tidy / messy pieces.
It also has a living room, dining room, games room, two large indoor and airy leisure areas, a garden and a private car park for guests' cars.
